Abstract:
Citation patterns in the field of composition studies are analyzed and
compared with patterns in other humanities fields. Results showed marked
differences in citation patterns between composition studies and other
humanities fields, including literary studies. Librarians can use this
information to forge more productive relationships with composition studies
faculty.
