Is there a difference between the JCR located at my library and the JCR
available online from ISI?

Impact factor is basically this measure, and it is in the JCR located at
your library. Go talk to a reference librarian. -- SB

Subject: [SIGMETRICS] "Average" number of citations?

This may be a dumb question, but here goes...

Is there a way to use Web of Science or Journal Citation Reports to
determine the average (mean) number of citations for a given journal title,
or for journals within a given subject category?
