Hi everyone,

Some thoughts on the webinar below:

 1. In light of the webinar that Katy had do we still want to pursue a
>> webinar on visualization. What are the other possible topics that we
>> might want to pursue? Some possible suggestions for webinars other than
>> visualization (bibliometrics and humanities; metrics: traditional and
>> alternative). Your thoughts on this are much appreciated.

I didn't watch it, but the slides are up at:

I don't think it would be difficult to come up with a visualization webinar
with a very different focus. (Katy's talk was pretty high level -
describing projects, categorizing scientometrics research by level of
analysis and variables of interest, describing the software applications,
etc.) I wouldn't be offended in the slightest if we went another way, but
if there's another approach to visualization (more nuts & bolts, novice's
guide to network visualizations, etc.) that would be interesting, I'd still
be happy to help.
