[SigLAN-L] final online call for officer nominations

If you are interested in getting involved in ASIST this is your opportunity!

Nominations are being accepted for secretary, chair-elect and listserv 
coordinator for SIG-LAN.   The positions of secretary and chair-elect 
require meeting attendance.  Listserv coordinator does not require annual 
conference attendance. I have a "maybe" for both the chair-elect and 
listserv coordinator. They are SIG-LAN members who have made many valuable 
contributions to the group but would rather let someone else have the 
opportunity to become more active in the SIG.

Nominations will be also be accepted at the planning meeting on November 
19th.  Feel free to nominate yourself or a colleague (provided he/she is 
interested in serving the term).

Please don't hesitate to contact me prior to or during the conference if 
you are interested in serving as an officer of SIG-LAN or have any 
questions about the positions.
