The iPhone IS a better iPod. A good cool status symbol.

Yes, true, but so many assume screens of 800px+ width.

Fingerpainting/printing is so much more expressive than using a pen/pencil/brush, and much 
faster than cutting up letters from the paper.

True, it is just announced, and s/w changes, or evaporates, so quickly.

Maybe the killer app will be a great game? Stereo sound effects?
(would be neat if Jobs had a 3D display with sensing of fingers' 3D position above screen 
... maybe next time)

Fitaly "keyboard" or similar? Bigger than on Palm, of course.
A bigger screen would be better, extending the full length.

But editing is the big problem. 
How do you point to the insertion point, or select text, with your big fingers obscuring the view.

Voice recognition would be great for input, messy for editing.
