[Sigia-l] search logs - relevance of penultimate referrers?

Eric,
This sounds of value to lots of folks.
For example, if a user searches for "apples" from the home page or a
dedicated search page, that doesn't tell you much. Knowing that the
user was on the "Fruit products" page just prior to the search page
would be valuable. Also, being able to report on the "tail end" of
the users' clickstreams just prior to the search also integrates
search log analysis and clickstream analysis.
E.g.
Knowing that 85% of the users searching for "blackberry" came via PDAs
Accessories > Contact Us would be interesting (as opposed to say just
seeing that them came from Contact Us).
