No I don't. All these tortured examples with caveats fail to illuminate.

"Cat" can be many things: as part of medical data, it could be computed
axial tomography scan or, as part of telecom, it could be a lineman's
handset with a built in terminal and modem. Or it could be an animal.
Without context it's utterly meaningless, as are your examples.

I'm still waiting for an explanation of "[Data] is the evidence of a
relationship between two things." Besides mumbo jumbo, that is.
