I agree that a common language is necessary for more efficient 
discussions, but this thread is proving that there are no such common 
terms to discuss this particular topic.

My view is that this is so because the whole premise is mistaken: you 
can't extrapolate domain/context-agnostic patterns. Soon you'll all be 
using the same term to talk about different things.

Oh wait, that's how the silly arguments in this list come to be. Ha! :)
