When there is not an established label, people try to be more specific
in referring to things. It may not be the most efficient
communications, but it is better than using improper labels.

When things have been assigned improper labels, people are being
misled regarding the nature of things. A misleading label can even
become the tail that wags the dog, i.e. the misleading label becomes
the standard for determining what belongs in the referred item. Thus,
the result is much worse than not having labels.

As to the label that you suggested earlier in this thread, note that
"aboutness" has its own meaning. Thus, I consider the term "about-ness
links" misleading.
