No, I'm not suggesting geography is determinant. I've avoided where possible
suggesting that.

I'm not, so can you please stop flogging that particular dead horse and it's
straw man rider. Sheesh.
You don't see me arguing that your resistance is due to a fear of the
marketplace becoming less confused and idiosyncratic, due partly to
educational/instructional activities such as seminars and lectures, and
partly to books which seek to document the collective knowledge and wisdom
of the practice of our industry. I can understand how whiz kid gurus that
are proud of being the lone gun on multi-million dollar projects get
threatened by this taming of the wilderness. Making that sort of argument,
no matter how close it hits, would be out of line. So I won't ;-)

I've been striving to find a term which *is* explanatory. Otherwise I'd be
happy with "N128-001" as the bureaucratic term.
Communicating with peers is helpful.
