Take a look at www.whatcar.co.uk

I did research for my new car a few months ago, and didn't have to go
anywhere beyond the site. Useful meaningful review categories (nine
ratings + overall), video test, full test verdict, owners reviews,
side by side comparison of three cars of your choice on a single page,
etc. They could have made the site better (a few usability flaws for a
picky expert eye; poorly designed questionnaire for "Choose the right
car" wizard). However, if you have at least a vague idea of what car
(maker, model) you are looking for, it is a good place indeed.
