[Sigia-l] Amazon Prime (subscription-like service) - an innovation?

For one, they are gaining an opt-out system. The system automatically
renews annually to the credit card I provided. What are the odds that
for $0.22/day I would bother to unsubscribe?

I signed up in less than a blink, and have already used the service
three times. This will allow Amazon to woo customers who value
convenience (don't make me think about shipping charges) and feel
guilty about spending money on shipping when there is a perfectly good
bookshop down the road -- were I ever to get there.

All for the price of ~20 cups of coffee -- albeit Starbucks. Not bad.
