Friends, 

Like Donna Mauer, I know IAs who are scared to post for fear of being
chastized. My goodness, I’ve been posting for almost four years and
I’M scared.

And like Karl Fast, I have been mulling over the idea of a
constitution of sorts. 

May I suggest three basic rules:

* Each new poster can ask three stupid questions before we jump all
over them.

* We will never direct askers of stupid questions to the archives.

* We agree that there ARE no stupid questions – just IAs with
different levels of experience.

And as a bonus rule:

We will always strive to be helpful, not show off or goad the
original poster.
