Preconference workshop fees are separate from the IA Summit fees.  So if 
you register early, attend the AIfIA workshop ($500) and the summit 
($450 for non-members), you can expect to spend $950 total on fees.

Members of AIfIA, STC-ID, UPA, AIGA, or SIG CHI get a substantial 
discount ($150) on IA Summit fees.  If you register before January 24, 
you'll pay just $300 for the summit.  <plug>The IA Summit has to be one 
of the best deals around when you compare the conference fees to quality 
of speakers and presentations.</plug>

For the workshops, there's an early bird discount ($75) but no 
membership discount.
