Well, thank you for your definition, Thomas. But actually, I wanted to avoid talking about defining IA (seems not a very beloved topic indeed ;-)) I wanted to collect the elements of a website or intranet that are delivered by people who call themselves IAs. Therefore, I proposed the list of IA system components. But maybe my question was too unspecific. So put in another way:
You call yourself Information Architect? So what do you deliver for a website or intranet? Give me examples of your everyday work practice (like labels, navigation structures, metadata systems,..)
Would be great to get feedback on that..
