Note the use of "i.e." in what Arno wrote:

When you use "i.e." after a term you give an explanation of that
term. So, Arno was _explaining_ to us that "IA methodology" means "the
process you have to go through to obtain these contributions".

That is a misunderstanding of "IA methodology".
