Actually Norpath is not a visio like tool at all. It is more akin to
Flash in that it is actually a gui development tool, not a drawing tool.
It has a robust programming environment that can communicate w/ server
scripts, the final files can be deployed on a web site, and the outcome
can be as robust as any flash app you can make. Its is quite cool b/c
the only file transmitted is an XML file in a package with the assets
required. The file you work on though is an XML file which means the
possibilities are quite interesting.
I found norpath to be quite compelling but because it has Visio
tendencies and Flash capabilities, I figured I'm better off w/ one of
those. Its programming methods though are an interesting study for
visual programing, as it uses a UML drawing style to actually create the
structure that you work in for a visual representation of coding and
object manipulation.
