I'm glad you guys are having a love-in :-) but consider the implications. If
a tool whose own app design and GUI is antithetical to good design sense and
sensibilities but is considered a 'standard' simply because of its ubiquity
[1] then we might as well give up design/IA, declare 'crap' the new
standard, since the vast majority of sites out there are crap. Just how far
are you willing to take the "safety in numbers" argument in a misguided
pursuit of 'standards'?
