Very much so. I think this gap in communication is one of the reasons
why IA's are becoming so indispensible, at least in my job: we do much
of the communicating between business people and techies - *and* we have
to power to turn business requirements (part of the way) into technical
design direction so we *have* to be able to understand techie.
