Actually, I'm pretty fascinated with the notion. I thought I'd see something
like this from the Chinese first. If such a threat were to be made by India
and/or China, would it be feasible for eBay, MSN, Yahoo, etc., to ignore it?
How would the ISPs sell it to their indigenous population? This is not
entirely out of the realm of possibilities for me. As it is, it's much
cheaper to call in than call out of a country in many places around the
globe due to telecomm tariffs. Somehow, I don't think this will be the last
word on this subject.
