Unfortunately, small site search engines rarely have phrase searching
or synonyms. Many will show meta description tags in results though.
Check out Perl scripts and HomePageSearchEngine on SearchTools.com.
Search services might work better for you, you can try Atomz (free to
500 pages) and SearchEngine.com (free with banner ads). Both have
data centers in the UK so you don't have to go across the world for
every query. MondoSearch has the same features but no free version.
