facets are actually interesting because rather than place an object into a
prearranged scheme, they all each item to be assigned named characteristics
based on the item's uniqueness, and then allow it to be found for what it
is, unlike traditional western organization systems.
please excuse an off-topic moment:
I think I shall one more thing, a small thing, but in the face of a
potential true police state http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig3/monahan1.html ,
in a world where people so easily allow themselves to become crueler than
they wish to be http://www.new-life.net/milgram.htm and allow a professional
uniform change their nature http://www.prisonexp.org/ and as some of us
face the short days and storms of winter and war seems to be part of the air
we breath; could we might try harder to be kind to each other. This doesn't
mean to pander or roll over, but just to listen to each other, and speak
clearly so we might be understood, and remember we are all humans here.
There is enough cruelty in the world, we do not need to add to its stores.
Do you think a new year resolution might be for us all to try empathy. To
give up name-calling, baiting, mockery, infighting and instead use our
energy and skill to listen and engage in dialog?
