[Sigdl-l] SIG DL program questions

Hi Tom --

I am submitting a poster session on establishing digital video and audio
standards for ETDs with some of my colleagues here at VCU. I don't
know if posters can be sponsored by a SIG, but if so, SIG-DL would be an
appropriate home for this!

In my experience, it is okay to submit proposals for sessions that
aren't completely fleshed out. Don't worry if you don't have speaker
confirmations at this point, or if the session isn't as focused as it
should be. The abstract can be written more generally as well, to allow
for some flexibility should the speakers/topics change, and we just need
enough at this point for the peer review folks to have a sense of
whether the session is worthwhile to include.
