[Sig-l] Proposed Changes in SIG Funding Structure

I personally feel that if ASIS&T members have to pay to join a SIG (be
it one or n) that the number of members that join any SIG will go down
and all the SIGs will hurt on membership. This will not help to
increase SIG membership, but reduce it. Is that what is intented? Or
is it to make it so that SIGs actual memberships are all small and
people just participate in a SIG, but not join.

PS I think you mean the date of April 1st to be 2010 instead of 2009.
