Speakers:

Tom Gillaspy, Minnesota State Demographer, will speak on the census - what
it is, what it says and what it will mean for Minnesota.

Professor Louis Mendoza, from the University of Minnesota, help us
understand demographic changes that have and will change the very texture
and nature of our national and state identity.  Professor Mendoza is
currently working on two books related to his 2007 Journey Across Our
America research project on US Latina/o communities which he conducted while
bicycling around the perimeter of our country for six months.
