Text Mining
Part II
Case Studies and Implementation Roadmap
November 29, 2005
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm CT
Description
Text mining applies linguistic and statistical analyses to textual data
(e-mail, documents, forms, transcribed audio, and the like) to automate
processing and derive predictive power from previously untapped information
sources. It builds on content management and search technologies to help
enterprises move beyond knowledge management to knowledge analytics.
Part II will present case studies and an implementation roadmap.
Attendees will understand the business problems text mining can solve;
learn how text mining software integrates with and complements content
management, search, and business intelligence technologies; and survey best
practices for evaluating and implementing text mining solutions.
