  1) ISO/DIS 30302, Information and documentation - Management systems for records - Guidelines for implementation

This will be one of the foundational standards of the Management Systems for Records (MSR) series. It provides practical guidance on how to implement a management system for records (MSR) within an organization in accordance with ISO 30301, which defines the "requirements" for an MSR. This Standard does not modify and/or reduce the requirements specified in ISO 30301. It describes the activities to be undertaken when designing and implementing a MSR. It is applicable to all types of organization (e.g. commercial enterprises, government agencies, non-profit organizations) of all sizes.
If this standard receives sufficient approval votes, it may proceed directly to publication.

Your voting options are:
YES - approve the publication of this standard (comments are optional and are generally editorial in nature)
NO - do not approve the publication of this standard as is (comments are required and should be substantive)
ABSTAIN from voting (comments optional)
Comments and recommendation for a vote needed by 2/10/2015 ( personally I don't have strong feeling about this but others may care)

2) ISO/DIS 7098, Information and documentation - Romanization of Chinese

This is a TC46 ballot for the standard ISO/DIS 7098, Information and documentation - Romanization of Chinese.

This will become the third version of the standard that explains the principles of the Romanization of Modern Chinese Putonghua (Mandarin Chinese).

Also included as a reference document are the comments and comment resolutions from the previous Committee Draft version. There were a number of comments, including from the US, on that version and many of them were accepted. This comment resolution document will indicate what changes were made in this DIS revision.

If this draft receives sufficient approval, it will go directly to publication. If after the ballot, further substantive changes are needed then an FDIS ballot could be issued for approval prior to publication.

Your voting options are:

YES - approve for publication (comments are optional and should be editorial in nature)

NO - do not approve (comments are required and should be substantive)

ABSTAIN from voting (comments are optional)

Comments and a recommendation for a vote needed by 2/15/2015 ( although Ive been to China Im not qualified to comment on this - my gut feeeling Is we should vote YES but others with more knowledge may have other views
