...i think youre drinking too much hollywood kool-aid ;-) i prefer hanging on the wall vs tabletop because, for me anyway, it's seems to be a more natural way for the body to work. i currently use an adjustable desk that allows sitring down or standing up w/flick of a switch.  this prevents my body from being in a rigid /hunched over position throughout the day.

in terms of the mult-touch screen, i certainly do hope it gains mass adoption.  it will open up new opportunities to re-think the ui/ux for personal computing.  also, as someone else mentioned, there's no reason that a wireless keyboard/mouse couldnt be hooked up to work with vertically mounted display.  with the larger surface area, users wont be forced to make precise and often difficult mouse movements required in current desktop environment.
