Highly doubtful.

Handwriting, for instance, is done from the shoulders. Problems
start when people move the pen with their fingers, keeping their arm
and shoulders mostly still. It sounds counter-intuitive, but the
fingers and wrist should be still; it's the shoulder that moves.

Of course handwriting is a lost art. I've recently begun trying to
improve my own. I did some reading and realized that I was writing
with my fingers. Retraining myself is tricky, but writing from the
shoulder is better: more control, less tiring, better script.

Plus, this RSI-bashing of touch surfaces overlooks that RSI problems
only became widespread with the mass adoption of keyboards and mice.
