Considering Gorilla Arm Syndrome and vertical or near-vertical
touchscreens, I would think it pretty much obvious that the Minority
Report UI will never happen in the context of continuous use.
But I've not actually tested it myself. One of these days, I'm going to
try flailing around Cruise-style in the privacy of my own bedroom and
time how long it takes for the effect to set in. Apparently, it's after
about 5-15 mins in most cases.
Perhaps this is why MS are positioning Surface as essentially a kiosk?
