It goes a bit further than simply being an address book feature. The
proposition is that the phone is primarily a communication device and
that as such the experience should be driven by whom you communicate
with and how you wish to communicate with them. The "My Faves"
feature appears to be a first step toward a that more integrated
experience that will incorporate other (traditionally siloed)
applications on the device.
