Yes, I've been spending sometime there. As you allude to, I think Like.com
is a more ambitious effort, with a much bigger potential. I've also been
following Riya (and their ability to look for new markets), though I'm not
entirely convinced of the accuracy of their recognition algos.

I've given up on the celebrity thing, as I think we're doomed to live with
it forever. I know I'm sexier than George Clooney and Pierce Brosnan put
together, but people will still want to buy the shirts and shoes they are
wearing. Go figure.

Well, that's what I wanted to know, if in fact you're the shopping type, do
you ever *start* with color or geography as a point of departure? I know
color can and does play an important facet in search, but can it ever be the
starting point? Do people really say I want "something/anything red" or does
red always come after you've selected "shoes," as an attributive facet? IOW,
have they created just a gimmick or are they on to some innate shopping urge
long carpeted over by the preponderance of text retrieval?
