Quite. We had this very debate on a "Modern Architecture" class field trip
to NYC to see "skin & bone" skyscrapers a couple of decades ago. If I recall
correctly, the class had decided pretty much unanimously that Mies would be
regarded as the coiner of the phrase henceforth. That reminds me to coin a
new dictum: "Domain prejudices know no bounds". :-)
