Thank you, I'll give that a try.
Is it guaranteed that it will be viewed that way on the reader's end? What
if they have settings or options turned off or are using a different
configuration? Eg, can they force emails not to show embedded images?

1. Upload the image/s your want to include in the email on a server.
2. Create a new msg in Outlook and make it rich text [HTML] format. [Format
> Rich Text]. From Insert menu select picture and instead of clicking
browse, paste the image source.
3. If you want to change how it looks, click on View menu and select Source
Edit.
4. You'll see three tabs at the bottom of the message. Click source and edit
your code.
Alternatively, you could code your e-mail separately and then paste it [the
code] in the e-mail replacing the code of the new message.
Also, if you go to Tools > Options > Send > HTML settings, you can
check/uncheck send pictures with message. If unchecked, it means the e-mail
will arrive in the recipient's mailbox w/o the image which will load after
he opens the message. If checked, it will embed the image within the message
[not as atchmt though] but this with slowdown the sending and receiving of
the message. I THINK this is what it does. I'm only guessing.
Hope that works for you.
Manu.
