[Sigia-l] Converting static pages in a large intranet site to CMS

Hi!

This is the first time I participate in this list although I've been
reading it during the last weeks. My name is Cátia Batista I'm working as
usability consultant in Portugal- Lisbon.

Last year we had the same "challenge" ;-) We start thinking that
dreamweaver would help. But there were 2 main problem: 
-We wanted to understand when it was important to change the style (like
for titles or footnotes, etc) -The "Find & Replace" was useless with the
huge amount of diferents styles in the text (it seems to be generated
automatically by Word or Frontpage - )

What we did: 
Copy/paste directly from document to notepad --> text became clean Compare
styles in document and apply new css 

It doesn´t work with tables but saved many efforts!
