Hi guys

I have memories of 2 'quotes' but can't find references for them. 
Hoping someone might remember where they came from ;)

1. The average number of terms people enter into a search field is x 
(I can't even remember the magic number)

2. That even having a link to advanced search makes search less 
successful (OK, I don't believe this one, but I remember reading it - I 
don't think it was just the Nielsen recommendation on getting rid of 
advanced search)
