[Sigia-l] visualising taxonomies on the web

Hi all,

Has anyone used a method of visualising a taxonomy on the web where it is
important for a user to see what is available on the current level and what
may be available further levels down or above, where users can move objects
from one folder to another and move objects up and down levels, create
folders and be able to delete and amend...., like windows explorer for
example.

What issues did you have to face and how did you overcome them?

were there any methods you would have liked to have used but were not
feasible for whatever reason?

was your chosen method usability tested and were there any problems however
small?

help on this subject will be greatly appreciated.!
