[Sigia-l] Product Indexes - Good Examples?

For what kinds of companies is a "facet-y" product index appropriate? PeopleSoft, yes. They make a huge range of products which
customers can sort of mix-and-match. But what about a more consumer-focused company with a smaller product line? The desire for a
complex classification system for a product line makes me wonder if the company just doesn't have a good internal story about its
offerings, or a coherent way of addressing its customers.
