In a somewhat similar scenario to the "Advanced Search" string:
- My client now has a full-blown "Help" section that covers a wide range of
topics.
- They wish to create a new "Learn More" or "Help Lite" section for new and
potential users (and an alternative to Help for users who need simple
answers to basic questions rather than the whole caboodle).
- The primary function is to prove clear, concise and conversational answers
to common questions (but will not be in a tutorial or FAQ format). The
secondary function is to convince them on the service (i.e. by answering
major questions that could otherwise be roadblocks). Users who need more
in-depth info will be directed to the Help section.
- This new section will coexist next to "Help" on the navigation toolbar, so
the name needs to be short.
- It also will be one of two major new user pathways: 'Learn More' and
'Start Shopping', so the name also needs to be compelling, preferably
(though not action-oriented
Any experience or thoughts on naming a section like this? They hate FAQ and
"Learn More".
Thanks,
Linda
