[Sigcr-l] Distributed group taxonomies

Hello

we are currently investigating the New Product Development process and are
attempting to create a classification of groups/teams involved in design
activity. For example, the NPD team may be comprised of different functions
in different locations/enterprsies. We have begun to identify other key
criteria, including power, interaction and design phase. However, there
seems to be little existing research on such collaborative typologies. 

I thought that members of this list may have a greater insight? We´d be
happy to share the work once complete and are working with a host of
industrial companies.
