All of the ideas sound excellent, but do raise policy questions. Do we we want to use the general fund for awards - and/or can we commit/want to commit to fund awards on an on-going basis? Should the general SIG fund be used for activities that benefit ASIS&T as a whole but are not particularly SIG focused?
I could see funding AM attendance for someone who had not attended before if they committed to working for a specific SIG. However, we don't want to dump the governance of a SIG on a newbie and overwhelm them so they quit.
