Hi All,

SIG-STI is organizing a logo contest for the SIG, and I need to come up
with the rules for submission and award to put on the website.

Copyright is an issue... We need to make clear that we will have the exclusive
rights to copy, distribute and publish the logo and to make it available in
any format in perpetuity as part of any SIG-STI communication or
distribution effort. Should I go further and tell participants that the
chosen one will have to give up entirely his copyright and the SIG will
become the owner? I am not sure, I have not done this before.

Have you been in a similar situation before with your SIG? How did you
handle the creation of your logo? Do you have any examples or suggestions
on how I should phrase that so it is clear to participants on the contest?
Does ASIST have a official form that I could use for that?

Any help is welcome.
Thanks!

Moriana
