Catholic University of America's School of Library and Information Science is launching an Online & Weekend Program for students of its Masters of Science in Library Science Program this Fall!

Students in this program will only need to attend class one Saturday a month. All other instruction will be delivered online. Two concentrations will be offered:

* a Generalist track which provides students a well-rounded education that prepares them to work in all types of information organizations, and

* the School Library Media track which leads to certification as a School Library Media Specialist in Maryland, Virginia and DC.

This program is designed for students who face difficulties fitting graduate education into a busy professional life or live far from Catholic University's Washington DC campus. It offers a balance between the convenience of an online program and the personal contact of traditional face-to-face instruction. Students will move through the program as a cohort advancing through the program together as a group and forming a strong community of learners.
