[Studentchapadv] ASIST Student Chapters

Hi Advisors - 

The student chapter section of the ASIST chapters page
(http://www.asis.org/AboutASIS/asist-chapters.html) has been updated.
This includes changes in advisors, and removal of links to chapter Web
sites which had upcoming events in 1998 (or 2001 - both seem to have
been good years for attention to Web sites). 

In any case where the chapter had an out-of-date Web site or no link, I
went to the school site and searched for any place where student
organizations were listed, trying to find whether there was indeed an
ASIST student chapter site. In some cases I found one. 

In quite a few cases I found lists of student organizations, but no
mention at all of the ASIST student chapter in these lists. It would be
great if you could check your institution's Web information and make
sure that mention is made somewhere of the ASIST student chapter,
perhaps with a link to national and an e-mail link to your name for
further information.
