Collaborative Information Seeking and Sharing: An Annual Research Symposium of the Special Interest Group on Information Needs, Seeking, and Use in  celebration of SIG USE’s 10th Anniversary.  Remember to send your symposium submission by September 11th.  Full information attached and available through our web site.       Evening Reception – Happy Birthday SIG USE!  Saturday, November 7th, 2009, 6.30pm.  Come and reminisce with old friends and meet newcomers to SIG USE.  We’ll see you there!     SIG USE Anniversary Panel - Celebrating 10 Years of SIG USE:  A Fish Bowl Dialogue on Information Behavior Research Past, Present & Future  Tuesday, November 10th, 3.30-5pm  What will the next 10 years of Information Behavior research bring?  Are we at a turning point in studying Information Behavior?  This panel reflects on the development of Information Behavior research and explores future directions, featuring new doctoral work, ongoing major research studies, and new opportunities for topics, partnerships, and funding.      SIG USE Planning Meeting  Sunday, November 8th, time/location to be confirmed  Join us for a very social breakfast and get involved in SIG USE planning for 2009-2010!       SIG USE Awards  As always, a number of SIG USE and ASIS&T awards will be presented at ASIS&T.  Applications are available via the SIG USE web site and the deadline for submissions is August 3rd.     Find Your Colleagues & Information in 2nd Life, Twitter, Facebook, and the SIG USE web site  SIG USE now has a space in Second Life on ASIS&T  Island, http://slurl.com/secondlife/ASIST%20Island/125/130/27.
