[Siguse-l] SIG USE Activities at ASIST Conference

Hello,

SIG USE is delighted to announce a number of activities at the ASIST 
Annual Conference upcoming in Milwaukee. We warmly invite you to join us!

1) SIG USE 7th Annual Research Symposium: Mobility and Social 
Networks in Information Behavior. Saturday, October 20, 2007, 1-6 
p.m., Hyatt Regency, Milwaukee, WI. Several SIG USE awards will be 
presented at the Symposium.

2) SIG USE annual dinner and business/planning meeting at 6 p.m. on 
Sunday October 21at Brew City - a short walk from the conference 
hotel. The address is: 125 East Juneau Avenue 
(http://www.brewcitybbq.com/location.htm). A sign-up sheet for the 
dinner will be posted on site at the conference. The planning meeting 
is an important venue to discuss next year's symposium topic and 
other ideas for SIG USE. A special highlight of the dinner this year 
will be the presentation of the 2007 Outstanding Contribution to 
Information Behavior Research Award winner, Dr. Marcia Bates. Join us!

3) Please refer to the conference program for SIG USE sponsored 
panels and presentations--there are plenty to choose from.
