Brenda's cogent comments are significant because user studies cannot reduced to 
one homogenous group, or blob as the case may be, simply because studying 
people's situated use of systems and information requires methods unique and 
sensitive to the setting, context, personal involvement and timing, among other 
dynamic variables. in addition, creating 'best' lists often constitutes political
