Hello everyone,

I have been contracted to editor a LITA Guide entitled* *Marketing
Libraries With Technology: A How To Do It Guide. Chapters will contain
information on how to set up the technology, employ it effectively in
marketing, and review best practices. Authors do not need to have extensive
experience with the technology, but need to be willing to test it out,
contact other libraries/librarians who use it, and conduct a literature/web
search for information on using the technology. Initial drafts of the
chapters are due in mid November.

The technologies needing an author are FourSquare, QR Codes, and Twitter.
Multiple authors are welcome.

I also am looking for someone to write the introduction which would involve
a literature review covering a wide variety of the most popular marketing
tools (social media and otherwise), brief descriptions of ones not included
in the book, and conclusions/best practices.
