[Sigsti-l] The delay in the agenda distribution....

For those who were at the Annual Meeting, you know that there were issues
in getting wireless access, and so, I wasn't reading my e-mail.

What most people probably don't know is that the mailing list is paranoid
about attachments, and won't deliver messages with them unless someone
approves the message.

So, Phil _did_ send the agenda out before the meeting, but I held it up,
because I didn't approve it. (and, in some cases, the mailing list ends
up stripping off the attachments anyway, due to other security settings)

I've released it, so that the people who weren't there can read it, if
they so desire, before the minutes are made available.

ps. I'm also going to try to do a post-meeting newsletter, with SIG-STI
relevent information for those who didn't make the annual meeting. If
you have anything to contribute, please let me know. (and, if you
have stuff from other sources, I'll take that, too.)

[I'm hoping that those people who helped to organize SIG-sponsored
sessions can give a report and/or links to the presentations]

pps. And, for those who weren't at the meeting, and haven't figured it
out yet, I was re-elected communications officer. And
thanks/congrats to John D'Ignazio for agreeing to run for
chair-elect, as it meant I didn't have to do it.
