Bibliometrics and Research Assessment Symposium: Save the Date and Call for Participation

Join us August 20-21, 2018 at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus in Bethesda, MD for a free, two-day symposium on bibliometrics and research assessment. This symposium brings together librarians and information professionals from academic, corporate, and government institutions to share ideas and best practices around the production and delivery of research assessment services.

The symposium will feature keynote presentations by leading bibliometrics researchers, poster sessions by librarians and information professionals showcasing their bibliometric activities, and training on gathering and analyzing bibliometric data.

Poster Submissions Being Accepted Now
If you are a librarian or information professional already active in this area, we are now accepting proposals for the poster sessions. We welcome submissions on formal or informal bibliometric service programs, specific projects completed, or lessons learned in providing bibliometric services. The deadline for submission is May 1, 2018. Proposals will be peer-reviewed and notifications of accepted posters will be made by May 15, 2018.
